T. S. Holiday Home
425 Cajon Street
1901

This Victorian gem was constructed for T. S. Holiday in 1901 at a cost of $2,500. Thomas S. Holiday was born in 1868 in Minnesota. He came to Redlands in the late 1880’s. He studied at the Bellevue Academy in Redlands, and the Woodbury Business College in Los Angeles. In 1895 he opened a saddle and harness shop in the Otis Block.

The home has two stories and eight rooms. It also had, in 1901, one bath tub and one water bathroom closet.

The current owners, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Henry, have down an excellent job maintaining the exterior and the grounds around the home.
