The Historical Society\u2019s program for April will be a sampling of the many biographies that can be found on the Society\u2019s webpage at www.rahs.org<\/a>.\u00a0 This will include biographical sketches of the famous, not so famous and a couple of infamous persons that chose to live in Redlands in its early years. Many of the names are familiar because of having streets, businesses, buildings or parts of buildings named after them. Some are included because they built half of Redlands. Others are included just because of their amusing reputations.<\/p>\n

The biographies will be presented by several members of the Historical Society\u2019s board of directors who have selected their favorite personalities. Steve Spiller, president of the Society, grew up in Redlands, was instrumental in the establishment of the Kimberly Crest house museum and retired as the executive director of the Mission Inn Foundation. Tom Atchley is a long time board member, former president of the Society, retired Redlands High School teacher, local historian, and native of Crafton. Marie Reynolds is the Society\u2019s newsletter editor, a co-advisor of Kimberly Juniors and an officer of the Contemporary Club.\u00a0 Moderator of the panel will be Ron Running, vice president of the Society.<\/p>\n

The program will be by Zoom starting at 7:00 p.m. The program is free but advanced registration is required. The link for webinar registration can be found at www.rahs.org<\/a>\u00a0 or at the following link:<\/p>\n
