William A. Gregory was born January 1, 1831 in Wiltshire, England. He was married to Sophia Ferris (1831-1891). He moved to Canada, then Illinois and finally to Redlands, California in 1885. He died in December 24, 1910 in Redlands. The Gregory’s had five sons, three of whom lived in Redlands:
