Dube is an author, historian and architectural draftsman, awarded the national Leicester B. Holland Prize for 2017 by the National Park Service and Library of Congress.  Jean-Guy will speak about how Southern California experienced agricultural, land and real estate booms in the 1880s and the numerous railroad depots of the Southern Pacific, Santa Fe, Union Pacific and Pacific Electric that dotted the landscape of the county.

The presenter offers before and after photographs of the depots after modifications over the years.  His enthusiasm captures the architecture of the period with descriptions that delight railroad lovers.
